Heritage Values and the Public – Barcelona, February 2015
The third and final workshop will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The aim of this workshop is to interrogate a critical and largely under-examined issue which relates to the role of the public in identifying, assessing and prioritizing heritage values.
During workshop III the following questions will be investigated:
How do heritage values differ among different disciplines and between experts and non-experts?
How can we define heritage values in ways that achieve greater public involvement in heritage decision making?
What is the role of the wider public in determining, assessing and implementing a value-led approach in heritage management?
